A*STAR is Singapore's leading public sector R&D agency that spearheads research to advance scientific discovery and technological innovation. In July 2016, we were pleased to interview Ms Joy Ng, a Research Engineer from A*STAR Institute of Chemical Engineering Sciences, to understand more about the workings of the R&D industry.

Ms Joy graduated with a B.Sc (Hons) in Chemistry from National University of Singapore in 2013, and her area of research at A*STAR is currently heterogenous catalysis and characterization.
